Barcelona are determined to lay off some players not needed in the squad this season and had already told some players to find another club.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the players include Neto Murara, Riqui Puig, Rey Manaj, Oscar Mingueza and Samuel Umtiti, while Clement Lenglet, who is now on loan to Tottenham Hotspur.

The players have been told that they will not be coming on their preseason tour to the USA on the 16th of July.

Luckily enough, Miralem Pjanic is not included in the list. With report saying that manager Xavi Hernandez is happy to give him a chance in preseason.

His high wages may prompt Barcelona to look for a new club for him as the club look forward to normalize their finances.

Despite two seasons considerably off the level that Barcelona are looking for, Pjanic is capable of the style Xavi Henendez is planning to play. This is likely to safe his career at Barcelona.
