Desperate Everton fans in a bid to help their team avoid relegation set off fireworks outside the Chelsea team’s hotel to disrupt their sleep ahead of today’s crucial clash.
Chelsea travelled to Liverpool to face Everton at Goodison Park in the Premier League.
But the players’ nights were disturbed as fans set fireworks outside the Hilton Hotel as they tried to stop the visiting squad from getting much sleep ahead of the big match.
Images on social media showed loud whistling fireworks, explosions and unpleasant sounds outside the hotel which lasted for more than one hour.
This incident happened ahead of a vital clash for the Toffees, who is seriously bathling relegation
Everton have not tasted relegation since 1954.
The Merseyside club are currently in the bottom three with two games in hand over Burnley and Leeds .
Supporters are also planning a march of support on Goodison Road to lift the players as they arrive to face Chelsea.
