Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos, is hopeful he will bounce back and be at his best as he looks forward to being able to prove himself again.

Injury has prevented Ramos from playing regularly for the club he signed for last summer, said that while adapting to the city was difficult, the dressing room made it very easy for him.

“At the beginning it was hard to adapt, it was after so many years in another club, where you had everything under control, the club, the house, the children’s school,” Ramos told PSG’s own media channels.

“It wasn’t so easy to arrive in a city as spectacular as Paris, it was hard to find a home.

“The adaptation to the team was quick, because there were players with whom I had played together before.”

Ramos appreciated Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas, with whom he had spent several years at Real Madrid.

“He is my brother,” Ramos said of Keylor. “We had an extraordinary and unique relationship at Real Madrid and meeting him here has made everything easier for me.”

The defender highlighted that leaving Spain has added more to his years of experience.

“Paris has other special and magical things,” Ramos said. “It’s good to change to appreciate what you’ve experienced and what you don’t know.

“You have a broader perspective.”
