Robert Lewandowski has reportedly rejected Paris Saint-Germain to agree a deal with Barcelona.
The superstar confirmed his desire to leave Bayern Munich this summer, with Barcelona leading the race to sign him.
Mundo Deportivo reported that the Pole has agreed a three-year contract of £175,000-a-week with Barca, worth £27million in total.
Paris Saint-Germain were ready to sign the striker, but Lewandowski is only interested in a move to Camp Nou.
The report further suggested that he must wait for cash-strapped Barcelona to offload players before his move can be confirmed.
Barcelona will meet on Thursday to discuss how to let some players go to offset the massive wage bill.
Lewandowski’s contract with Bayern Munich expires in summer 2023, this entails that Bayern can keep him if they wish.
But the striker recently reiterated his desire to leave the Bundesliga side.
‘My era at Bayern is over. I don’t see any possibility to continue playing for this club anymore.
‘Bayern’s a serious club and I believe they won’t keep me, I don’t want to play there anymore. A transfer is the best solution. I hope they don’t stop me.’
