Memphis Depay will not accept a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer even as Barcelona are ready to let go of the player.

Sport reported that the Dutch forward was contacted by Tottenham Hotspur to inform him of a possible move, but Memphis rejected the offer.

The 28-year-old is looking at the possibility of winning titles at his next club. As he plans to only depart to a club that compete favourably in both domestic and international competitions.

Just recently, a report emerged linking the Dutchman with a return to Manchester United. The report further suggested that other clubs are monitoring the situation at the Spotify stadium.

The forward had a promising first month at Barcelona, but struggled to reassert himself under Xavi Hernandez.
