Manchester City are interested in Brighton and Hove left-back Marc Cucurella according to The Guardian.

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola is determined to bring in the former Barcelona defender following his impressive performances in the Premier League.

The 23-year-old started professional football with Barcelona but couldn’t make it to first team. He joined the Brighton after going on loan to Eibar and Getafe.

The Spaniard had made 37 appearances for the English club across all competitions, contributing a goal and two assists.

Manchester City have already signed Erling Haaland after winning the Premier League and will look to continue to do smart business.
