After a competitive opening period, Kevin de Bruyne spice up the game as City restored their one-point advantage.

De Bruyne created the opener for Riyad Mahrez and provided the final pass for Bernardo Silva to wrap up the scoring eight minutes from time.

Phil Foden now beat the Brighton goalkeeper to seal the match off.
