Manchester United have appointed Erik ten Hag as their new manager.
Ralf Rangnick took charge as interim boss at the end of November. But the board of United agreed to appoint a permanent coach when they get to the right candidate for the job.
Rangnick will be taking over consultancy role at the end of the season.
Mauricio Pochettino of Paris Saint-Germain was the preferred candidate at the beginning, but United later looked the way of Ajax‘s Ten Hag as he became a more popular option amongst the English club’s board members and supporters.
