Chelsea have long indicated interest in the services of Ousmane Dembélé and appeared to be the favourite in the race to grab the forward. As the coach Thomas Tuchel worked with him in Borussia Dortmund.
But, Blues are not 100% convinced about going for Dembele and are also keeping tabs on Raheem Sterling, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The report reckons Chelsea “currently have their doubts” about Dembele and claims the forward’s dubious injury record is a “concern.”
Dembélé made 150 appearances in all competitions in five years, a stay that was marred by series of injury.
Di Marzio goes on to add “the current feeling around the club seems to be that Chelsea are more interested in signing Raheem Sterling than Ousmane Dembele.”
Chelsea still believe they’ll grab the 25-year-old as Barcelona but can’t afford to seat on the fence.
