The Lewandoski’s agent, Pini Zahavi, met with the board of directors of Bayern Munich to discuss his clients’s potential move to Barcelona this summer, but the German club responded by offering him a contract renewal.
The club made it clear that they have no intention of selling Lewandowski this summer.
The Polish striker’s contract expires in 2023, after which the player will leave for free just the way David Alaba left for Real Madrid on free.
Barcelona had already declared interest in the services of the prolific striker, but Bayern Munich are not ready to let the striker go.
Lewandowski has scored 33 goals in the 31 Bundesliga matches he’s played so far this season.
