Chelsea have reportedly shown interest in the services of Robert Lewandowski as they have joined the race to sign the striker.
The Polish striker last month declared his career at Bayern Munich was ‘over’. This prompted Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona to bid for the striker.
Recently, German news outlet Bild, reported that Chelsea have now joined the race to land him this summer, as the blues search for a suitable replacement for outgoing Rumelu Lukaku.
However the club see Lewandoski as the ideal fit, given his ridiculous goalscoring record in Germany.
Dailymail report that Lewandowski is said to be already in talks with both PSG and Barcelona but reportedly prefers a move to Catalonia, with Mundo Deportivo reporting that the Pole has already signed a three-year contract around £175,000-a-week with Barca, worth £27million in total.
