Oscar Mingueza is set to leave Barcelona this summer according to Mundo Deportivo despite still having a year left on his contract.

Football espana reported that Xavi Hernandez has already told the centre-back that there is no place for him in the starting line-ups next season.

Valencia and Bundesliga side Hoffenheim are the two possible destinations.

Barcelona are demanding a transfer fee of €5m for the player.

The Catalan born player spent his entire senior career at Barcelona, making his first team debut under Ronald Koeman in November of 2020 and has since made 66 appearances.

The 23-year-old has made 66 appearances, scoring two goals and contributed five assists.
