
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been named the PFA Player of the Year defeating Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne who won it last two years.

Salah, a joint-top goalscorer in the Premier League last season with 23 goals, was also chosen ahead of Liverpool team-mates Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk.
Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Tottenham’s Harry Kane were also nominated for the prestigious annual award, which is voted for by the players.
Salah’s 23 goals helped placed Liverpool in econd position in the Premier League, one point behind the Champions.
The 29-year-old topped the assists chat, with 13 to win the Premier League’s playmaker award.
