Erling Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola has reportedly assured the President of FC Barcelona Joan Laporta, that if the cash-strapped club can raise the funds necessary, his client will play for the Catalans next season.
Earlier this week, Laporta claimed that the Catalans are back and are now able to face their rivals for the toughest competition in football.
A name they would love to add to their squad to achieve more is Haaland, whose impressive displays have attracted interest from Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
The Dortmund striker’s release clause is valued at £64million.
Cuatro reported that Raiola has promised Laporta that his client will move to Barcelona next season if the club can raise the capital to sign the striker.
Haaland will be Barcelona’s priority next summer, with the club eager to have him to match up with Madrid, who are expected to land Kylian Mbappe.
