Barcelona signing Ferran Torres has contracted coronavirus virus after his presentation

Eight players from Barcelona first team already tested positive for coronavirus for their Sunday night win over Mallorca their first for the year.

“Under La Liga rules, all players had to complete a PCR test before returning from the break, and as many as eight Barca players tested positive”. According to Espana.

Injury issues added to Xavi Hernandez’s problems, leaving him with an incomplete sqaud for this year’s campaign.

Though, they still managed to get it done thanks to Luuk de Jong‘s header that gave them a marvelous win.

Recently, new signing Ferran Torres was presented to fans at Camp Nou, and since that presentation, the winger has also tested positive for coronavirus.

After his presentation to the fans, he started taking part in a training session. 

Presenty, Torres is has not been registered, and he is also recovering from an injury that will keep him out until mid-January.
