The Spanish Giant are ready to include Eden Hazard in a bid to lure Chelsea defender Reece James to Santiago Bernabeu according to reports.
The position of right-back is one of Carlos Ancelotti’s biggest concern.
Madrid had Dani Carvajal as a recognized right back in their team and could look for a reinforcement. Los Blanco’s dream of bringing James to the Bernabeu will be a big challenge as Chelsea is not ready to let go, according to The Sun.
But the LaLiga Giants are willing to spend more than £50millon on the England star and are also willing to include former Chelsea star, Eden Hazard as a Bargaining chip.
The Belgian international left Chelsea for a fee of £90m but has flopped since his move.
Injuries also contributed to the 30-year-old inability to score in his 14 appearances this season, with the Coach not happy with his current form.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly tried to bring Hazard back to Stanford Bridge.
Now Madrid has a huge opportunity to offload hazard and reinforce their defence line.
James has enjoyed a wonderful season at Chelsea, scoring five goals and providing six assists in 22 appearances as a right wing-back.
