Reports has it that the player is ready to leave Manchester United, with Barcelona and Corinthians keeping tabs on the striker’s situation at Old Trafford.
A January move is close to completion with Barcelona ready to bring the 34-year-old to Camp Nou.
Barcelona’ deal for Cavani is for the striker to take a pay cut to sign an eighteen month contract with the club.Though it is still not clear if Manchester United will request for a fee for the striker.
Edinson Cavano will be out of contract this Summer but looks set to leave Old Trafford sooner after seeing himself pushed aside by the arrival of Christiano Ronaldo from Juventus.

The Uruguay international impressed in his first season at United but seems to be unhappy with the lack of play time at Man United as he aims to take part in the 2022 World Cup.
Corinthians are also linked to signing the striker.

“For me, it’s about developing those players but if a player wants to leave because he feels he will not get enough game-time here with us then we can speak about that, but it’s not only about what the player wants, it’s also about the situation of the club,” Rangnick said.

“Two things need to come together if a player wants to leave – one thing is if he wants to leave, but on the other hand the needs of the club need to be satisfied.”
