It’s six wins in a row in all competitions for Manchester City as they continue to fight to get to the top of the table.

Pep Guardiola’s side are second in the table, one point behind leaders Chelsea and up next it’s a trip to struggling Watford on Saturday.

During his News conference earlier today, the Manchester City manager gave some hints on how prepared the club is for the difficult task ahead.

On injury news, Guardiola has confirmed everyone but Ferran Torres is available.

On his side’s good form, he added: “I don’t know what will happen against Watford or in the next games but we are playing at a good level.

“We have to prove again. I know how difficult our opponents are.

“It will be a pleasure to play against him [Claudio Ranieri] again. We have to be careful again tomorrow and do another good performance.”

Earlier, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said that it was too early for him to consider it a title race but admitted the competition at the top of the Premier League is exciting.

What about Pep Guardiola? Well, the Manchester City boss was a bit less enthusiastic.

“Every season you do the same question, most exciting Premier League ever in the universe,” Guardiola responded.

“It’s nice but we’ll see. For all three teams it’s good.

“European competition back in February, FA Cup coming in January. So far, on behalf of City we are delighted.”
