The final round of group games in this season’s Champions League takes place next week, but some of those matches are being affected by coronavirus.
The latest news is that Bayern Munich’s game at home to Barcelona on 8 December will now be played behind closed doors.
A statement from Barcelona said it was “due to the serious increase in coronavirus cases in the German region of Bavaria in the last few weeks”.
Bayern have already qualified for the knockout stages as Group E winners, but Barcelona face a battle with Benfica, who play Dynamo Kyiv in their final game, for the runners-up spot.Article Reactions
