After 10 days of bickering following Mauro Icardi‘s alleged affair with China Suarez, love has won as the Paris Saint-Germain forward and wife Wanda Nara have agreed peace.
Wanda confirmed on her Instagram account that the two have decided to give their relationship another chance, having agreed to divorce.
“The photos I’d been uploading in recent months showed how happy we were,” Wanda wrote, alongside a photo of her and Icardi about to kiss. “I was very hurt by what happened, even day I asked Mauro for a divorce.
“When he realised there was no going back, he told me that we couldn’t continue like this, that if separating was the only way to end the pain, then we could do it. We went to our lawyer and Mauro accepted all the conditions and we signed the agreement.
“The next day he wrote me a letter like nobody had ever written me. He said he gave me everything and he has everything, and that me being happy would make him happy.
“Then I realised that I could have everything but have nothing if I weren’t with him. I’m sure this bad time will bring us together as a couple and a family.
“The important thing is that we both had the freedom to end out eight-year story, but tired of crying we chose each other. I love you, Mauro Icardi.”
Wanda continued to post a series of photos to her Instagram story of the pair.
