That stalemate follows a disastrous week for Barca and Koeman, who is under strong pressure to turn around results.

A comfortable 3-0 Champions League defeat by Bayern Munich was a poor start to their European campaign.

Barca then needed a late Ronald Araujo goal to clinch a draw against winless Granada at the weekend.

It has been widely reported that Koeman is on borrowed time at the Nou Camp. There have been several suggestions that president Laporta has already drawn up a list of potential candidate.

According to Diario Sport, members of the squad have ‘grown tired’ of defending the team’s form, despite publicly backing Koeman.

They have defending Koeman in the media because the former Everton and Southampton boss has reciprocated.

“It’s not just about the result, you have to analyse the attitude and the work rate,” Koeman said after the draw with Cadiz.

“I can’t complain. We’ve had four or five chances and we haven’t scored, so for that reason I am not happy.

“But what I will take with me is the attitude of the team and not my personal situation.”
