Liverpool will reportedly have to pay cash-stricken Derby County £100,000 due to Kaide Gordon being in the starting line-up to face Norwich City in tonight’s Carabao Cup clash. The exciting 16-year-old winger will make his debut for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the third-round clash at Carrow Road.
He has also scored two goals this season in three Premier League 2 games, having fired nine in 13 appearances for the Reds’ under-18s last season following his move from Derby in February.
Liverpool signed Gordon for an initial £1million in a deal that could rise to around £4m, after the talented teenager forced his way into the first team at Pride Park last term.
